The Pig
A popular student meeting place on Linden Street. The official name of the restaurant was the Purple and Gold Tearoom and was affectionately shortened to the P & G Tearoom and finally The Pig, It eventually moved around the corner to High Street and changed its name to the Rathskeller and, as before, the name was shortened by the students to The Rat.
